There is six major commodity exchange In India :


  1. Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX): Founded in 2003, Head Quarter: Mumbai
  2. National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDE): Founded in 2003, Head Quarter: Mumbai
  3. Indian Commodity Exchange (ICEX): Founded in Nov. 2009, Head Quarter: Gurgaon
  4. National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE): Founded in 2002, Head Quarter: Ahmadabad
  5. Universal Commodity Exchange: Founded in April 2013,
  6. Shariah Index: Founded in Dec. 2010, Headquarter: Gurgaon
